Clear Channel Charleston, SC is looking for a General Sales Manager for their 2 top FM radio stations. This individual will be responsible for leading a top-performing, talented sales force to the next level of success. Responsibilities include - Manage sales team and maximize revenues through inventory management and serving customer needs - Attain overall revenue and market share goals - Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly - Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates - Oversee efforts of sales team by reviewing sales proposals and negotiating with clients - Conceptualize and execute marketing programs and client services - Develop, implement and communicate sales strategies and action plans - Analyze and report to upper management regarding station and market revenue activity - Hire, coach, train, counsel and motivate sales team - Conduct sales staff meetings - Assist in collection of accounts receivable - Manage inventory and rates through coordination with the Traffic Department

Job Requirements:

At least 3 years of highly successful sales media leadership experience with proven ability to meet and/or exceed revenue goals - Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices - Excellent leadership, negotiating and communication skills - Highly refined interpersonal skills by which to coach, counsel, and mentor our sales staff to the next level of excellence - Highly developed business writing and software skills - Understanding of broadcasting, pricing inventory, ratings, marketing, promotion and collection standard. Job Title: IT/Assistant Engineer

Description :

 

Candidate will handle IT duties in addition to assisting Chief Engineer as necessary. Knowledge of MS Networking and Office Applications a must. This position is service oriented and interacts extensively with other departments and staff.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Familiarity with radio broadcast operations including maintenance of broadcast automation and studio equipment, RF equipment and strong computer/IT skills. Requires a working understanding of basic electronics, logic and switching circuits, and electronic troubleshooting practices. Also requires strong written and oral communication and organizational skills, in addition to ability to interact positively with staff. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Occasional night and weekend work and rotate on-call 24/7 emergency response duty after training. Must be able to climb ladders, work in small spaces and lift 50 lbs. Must possess valid state driver's license and have excellent driving record.

 

Education Requirements:

 

Related AS or greater degree, military or equivalent experience, required. SBE/IT certifications are a plus.
